I maintain a healthy weight all year (175 pounds at 6’0”), but every year going into summer I do no carbs for 30 straight days as somewhat of a reset/mental challenge. Been doing this since about 2015

Started after Good Friday this year. The grind the first few days sucks, the hunger, mental fog, etc

But like clockwork day 5 is awesome. Your body stabilizes and you just feel incredible. Zero bloat, you feel fresh etc. It’s not a sustainable diet but for a period of time every year it’s awesome.

I tried carnivore for 3 weeks and hated it. Work outs greatly suffered.

So for me, no...no carbs never did become awesome.

Day 6 with carbs.

Seriously though. Everyone is different, but for me personally, I do considerably better with low carb vs no carb, especially my workouts.

In contrast, my all carb diet isn't going so great. I should never have listened to lsu777 to do this.
