Any MUST EATs at Ft. Worth Stockyards??

Headed to Dallas area w/ family for mini vacation...We have one day to explore and considering stockyards since we've never been. I know there are a ton of options, just trying to avoid tourist traps.

I'm far from knowledgeable enough to tell you must haves. But last year we went to Lonesome Dove and Cattleman's Steak House. The former was pretty impressive. The latter was about like a Western Sizzlin steak, except, way more expensive. Hope that helps.

Second Rodeo is a cool place as well.

Will be busy with a wait, but it is the best Mexican you will find.

We like Lonesome Dove, too.
