I don't care what they said. LSU has a pregame routine that they stick to. If you've ever been around top tier coaching, these are the kinds of things that are followed down to the second. It is part of the process. It has nothing to do with the national anthem.

Are you actually equating abstaining from participation in the national anthem at a ballgame in which the audience and other team are indeed participating to not saying it every morning when brushing your teeth?
