Three players on the team that needed to be double teamed. It's frustrating but this might've been the year they lost to Georgia Tech?. Dennis Scott Bryan Oliver Kenny Anderson. Chris Jackson had the flu in that game. And had only 13 points?

Also an interesting question- how was GT a 9 seed with all that talent?

Yep. GT was the first team in ACC history to have 3 dudes on the same team averaging 20+ ppg. I believe they had 4 1st rounders on that team. They had some early season struggles due to a few issues, but they were stacked too and went on to the Final Four.

LSU was obviously stacked, but Shaq was just a freshman. He was an awesome freshman, but not yet would he would become. CJ being sick and fouling out did LSU in.

We did not have a true offense that season. The previous year consisted of Chris Jackson versus the world. That carried over to a great extent. As a result, there were games where we lost rhythm. Also , Maurice and Shaq were fantastic defenders. Chris and Stanley were lazy defenders. Vern was solid on defense. A lot of individual great pieces that didn’t fit well together.
