Driving like a maniac and causing a crash is exactly what Ruggs did. Saying this isn’t as bad jsut because thank god someone didn’t die makes no sense to me. You judge the action not the result

I don’t view someone that shoots someone in a robbery in a better or worse light jsut because the victim dies or survives

Driving like a maniac and driving like a drunken maniac are two very different situations IMO.

I think they're arguing the drinking makes it worse.

while I get what youre saying and morally youre probably right the law doesnt work that way. nor should it. As messed up as it may be the law has to take the result into consideration.
