Frozen Corn on the Cob in Shrimp/Misc Boil

I noticed one of the steps in the stalekracker method is to add the frozen corns after the 1 minute boil to help cool the pot down for the soak. How well does that corn actually cook soaking in 150* water for 20 minutes?

Cooks completely fine in that amount of time. And the water is hotter than that when it gets put in.

Works fine, just did it with crawfish. Threw frozen corn in when I cut the fire and it soaked for about 30 minutes with the crawfish.

I didn’t like or eat the frozen corn. I don’t like the texture. Fresh corn in a boil is outstanding.

Crawfish boil corn is always overcooked for me. Tasty, but overcooked.

Frozen corn is already cooked. All you are doing is thawing it. You can do the same thing in cold water and it would be fine.

It’s about perfect. That’s how I do it every time.
