According to this lady, "Storming the capitol" and trying to engage in "revolution"
Her words. Not mine.

People have argued there was zero violence?
People have argued that they were all let in?
Revolution has a lot of different meanings. I’m sure we see it used in many different ways by people on social media. If I say I’m a part of a revolution, is that a crime?

This. I've not seen anyone argue there was no violence at all and that all people were let in. It's actually the opposite. Leftists generalize the event..implying that everyone stormed the Capitol building, and were violent.
Hell, there were some people who were tracked down and arrested for just being in DC that day. They weren't even part of that riot. Some people were tracked down and arrested for entering the Capitol building several hours after the riot.

At least from Patriots. They try to argue any violence was "Antifa"

No, but attempting to enter a government building when told not to and then using force, is.

At the least, we can accept a definition that it involved disrupting an official proceeding of Congress.

I have very little sympathy for anyone engaged in violence with the security teams around the Capitol.
Everyone knows there is a lot of unequal justice being meted out here. Even the dumb figs like SFP and cwill who are currently gaslighting this thread.

No national guard...and the police were passive. DC wanted that riot to happen.
That wasn't a spur of the moment rally. It was a planned in advance rally, and everyone and their mother knew that the chances of a riot was very high. It's why even trump wanted the national guard to help prevent chaos.
Not saying it was a set up. But DC wanted that shite to happen. Even the Cpd could've squashed that riot just as it got started. ..rather than just passively sitting back and allowing it to grow and escalate.
If it wasn't on purpose, then DC is very inept. And I refuse to believe that DC is that inept. I'd rather view them as scheming than bumbling fools.

This is a short story from your short bus.

Cool. Most people realize they weren’t all let in.

Sure. And the punishment should be equivalent to other groups with different views who have done the same. We both know it’s not but you’re intent on being a bitch on this topic. Thus the first post in the thread from me.

I would think he feels like there is overreach here at least for some j6ers.

Same here. Those who were violent, should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. For them, there's no excuse. I acknowledge that idiots could be coaxed into the Capitol building... because mobs are like that, easily manipulated. But, committing violence, frick them.. that's all on them.. those were unstable individuals who were just looking for an excuse, any excuse, to act violently.

Because they gave DEMs everything they wanted and a YUGE advantage in the narrative.
If you could go back in time and eliminate J6, do you think Trump, MAGA, the GOP, etc. would be better off?

Agree or disagree?

The issue of criminality is above J6ers.
Even without the criminality aspect, they should be ostracized, marginalized, and mocked until they never come out of hiding.

There's nothing wrong with pointing out hypocrisy and selective punishment, you fking moron.

It's still playing out IMO. J6 caused Dem / Fed overreach towards Trump which lifted him to the nomination without seriously campaigning (he was tied with RDS prior to the raid on MAL).
A red wave this fall with Trump becoming first GOP nom to win Hispanics and 30% of black men erases the "racist" narrative and gives him a firmer grip than he'd have otherwise seen.
