It didn't imply he slept in a warehouse it implied his company slept in the warehouse. In an anthropomorphic sense, it does.

It also stated that they had moved out and weren’t paying any more. The statement from the lawyer suggests they aren’t suing for rent, they are evicting so it can be legally leased again.
So I’m siding with “bullshite journalism”.
