Clayton running a 4.9

Speights a 4.6 looked like a 5.2 last season

Nabers had an excellent day

Wingo 286?

That should shut some people up about Savion Jones' weight.

The lack of upper body strength exhibited by both Smith and Ovie explains a lot.

I want to say Gregory Clayton Jr. was a senior with no eligibility remaining. Not the greatest showing from the group.

Noah Cain looked way taller than 5'10" on the field, but those are some decent measureables.

Jordan Jefferson probably could've gotten a few better reps but he's going in because of his size anyway.

Ovie Oghoufo with some solid speed. Surprisingly good speed from Speights as well.

How was Omar Speights so bad last year?

If that dude turns into a solid pro, that might end up being the worst individual player coaching job in LSU history by Matt House. An all Pac-12 tackling machine, transfers to LSU and is historically shitty at the position, measures well in pro-day and becomes solid pro.

His measurements, when looked at in combination, are pretty damn solid.

6'1", 225, 4.62 40, 4.34 shuttle, 7.06 cone, 30 reps on bench, 10' broad, etc.

That's a good day for him. Then they turn on the tape from 2023....

Lot of times they say people play fast and run slow times. He is the opposite. He played so slow... whether some of that was thinking vs instinct, who knows. But that mother f'r was slooooow. It's like he had some ruh roh moments against fsu and miss st... where dudes just roasted him on outside runs, when he had huge edges on them. Wasn't in the pac 12 anymore.

Longest arms and smallest hands. That's a weird combo.

Honestly I couldn't tell he would be capable of 30 bench reps.

This is all clearly a product of Matt House not knowing how to use the talent in front of him.

I think our defense had a lot of fast guys looking slow and that's coaching. They weren't put in a position to react instinctively or "play fast". They were always on their heels and non-committal because of coaching.

Hard to blame individual players over the past couple seasons on the defensive side.

I'm curious why JD didn't run. Is it possible he wasn't getting the time he wanted? I thought a fast 40 would've solidified him over Caleb

Because he didn’t need to. Him being elite fast for a QB doesn’t need a 40 time to prove. He’s the fastest QB in the draft by a mile. Running a 4.4 or 4.5 isn’t going to change that

Claytons 40 time has to be a typo right?
