Watched it from start to finish at a crawfish boil. Wreck looked like a normal crash. Didn't think for a secon that it instantly killed him. After seeing Schrader waving for help, i knew it wasnt good. It's a shame the hell that Sterling Marlin took from the fans. Blaming him for Sr death.

Was watching it with my dad, had just turned 7. Really the first NASCAR race that I remember(just bits and pieces of it, remember them showing the ambulance driving slowly to Halifax Medical Center).
I highly recommend everyone watch “The Day” , a special that the Speed Channel did on it, very in-depth.

Shows Earnhardt arriving at the hospital with them doing chest compressions(you see just a glimpse of him), Jr and Teresa arriving at the hospital etc. Also has several interviews with drivers and people who were there.
I never want to know what Ken Schrader saw when he looked into that car.
