re: Earnhardt Senior Passing...Do You Still Remember? What were you doing at the time?

I was 19, taking a sabbatical from school and delivering pizzas on that Sunday afternoon. I remember watching the race before I went into work and seeing the wreck, I didn't think much of it. I was an Earnhardt fan and figured he'd just brush it off and race at Rockingham the next week.

I was listening to the country station out of Macon, GA in my truck while I was delivering and the DJ came over the air and said."This is the hardest news I've ever had to deliver on the radio, Dale Earnhardt has died."

I was in shock. I literally spent the rest of the day walking around in a daze. The Last American Cowboy was gone
