I speculated that maybe we'd go the Hunter Dean route (NIL deal instead of the scholarship) with Okani when I saw he scheduled a visit with us, but the list of schools that have contacted him are solid, so I don't think he'd settle for that. Maybe McMahon is just comfortable switching out Collins and R. Miller at the five and is trying to get more wing depth. Because like you said, we haven't really been contacting many bigs in the portal.

If McMahon doesn't get one or two experienced big men in the portal, he is making a mistake IMO. Reed and Fountain (if he is on the roster next year) have shown they are not the answer to compete with more powerful paint players on some teams. The other paint players on the roster are not experienced enough.
We still need a point guard and a power/forward center in the portal!
