It’s the worst arena in the entire NBA.
I've attended NBA games in OKC, San Antonio, Houston, and Memphis. I didn't think any of those arenas were noticeably better than SKC.

The not having amenities to attract other events may be a fair point. But with the Superdome right next door, I'm just not we're dying for a new arena. And the location is perfect. If we do build a new arena, it better be in the same spot. Same with the Superdome.

I’ve always thought a new arena needs to be built on the footprint of Champions garage, Lot 3/3a. Team wouldn’t have to move out for 2/3 years. Some serious money also needs to be invested in that area to redevelop the district to attract bigger events that aren’t Superdome related. I know the WNBA is considering Nola to host their ASG. NOLA Center is just sitting there and not being used.

That's not what its really about, but the SKC also has the smallest lower bowl in the NBA

People whose job it is to deal with Arenas, etc say the SKC is the worst.

Its just not up to modern standards.
