You can find some good deals but you have to be patient. I picked up a Smith and Wesson 29-3 Lee Horton 3” right before Covid started for a little over 1K. Gun is worth $1600 easily.

I knew a guy constantly scouring "no reserve" discounts on that site before he passed away. He was a FFL, so he would know when an auction yielded a steep discount or not.
