I moved into my house 13 years ago. The previous owner's name was Tex. I still have the letter that was stapled to the wall saying to not revive him if found dead or dying.

After living in the house 4 or 5 years, my son (who was about 7 at the time) started talking about Tex a lot. He gave specific details. My wife and I had never mentioned him to any of the kids. I asked my son how he knew so much about Tex. He said "you told me".

Spirits are real.

Sounds like "Tex" needs to cough up some rent money or GTFO. Bet that would dampen his spirits....

We stayed at my out-of-town aunts house for my uncles funeral. He was an awesome man and husband.

It was just my aunt, parents and I at the house. A couple days after he passed it was our first night staying there with her the night before the funeral. She was sobbing talking about memories of him with my parents in the living room where we were all sitting around. my aunts cell phone started ringing and the call was from my uncles cell. She answered and it was just static on the other end. She knew his phone was in her bedroom. We walked upstairs to her room and his cell phone was sitting there dead on his nightstand. That was probably the strangest thing I witnessed personally and we all were so perplexed by it. She was at peace with it and believed it was him calling to let her know he made it to Heaven.
