From 2009-2019 (1 decade)...there were 40 no-hitters.

From 1980-1990 there were only 14.

Something was up with the baseball in the era he pitched.

Or every hitter had juice withdrawls.

That's usually where they start with pitchers.
I remember when Don Sutton got his 300th win. lots of baseball writers didn't want to vote him in. He hung around long enough to get up to 324 to go with his 256 losses.
