As long as Texas continues to vote NO for casinos and legalized gambling, the horse purses will continue to be lousy. Having said that, there may be some merit to the Penn Gaming interest. Isn't Mark Cuban banking on the state to get casinos? The article is wrong,because Retama Park in Selma also runs thoroughbreds

I think the article indicates Retama park is going to shut down without saying it
