To get around the too much labor for one person problem, I saw someone say they were thinking about doing a pallet a weekend.
So I could save delivery fee by picking up one pallet, which will fit in my f150. Take my time laying the 450 sq ft on a Saturday and concentrate my watering efforts to that small area. I don't have a sprinkler system, just regular sprinklers.
Then about 2 weeks later, repeat the process.
Any issues with this? Seems much less overwhelming this way too.

I'm not sure what a pallet of sod weighs, but it is heavy. I have done it in my F250 and it's noticeable - half-ton truck? I'd check on it.
