Amazing night shining for rough greens…previous record was 11 - last night we found 22 rough green snakes! Walked the trail in the evening flipping boards and found 2 broad-banded water snakes, a little ribbon snake, and a juvenile cottonmouth. But we really hit the jackpot on the walk back, shining right after dusk.

As a kid in a river parish we caught green snakes and played with them almost every da6n8t seems. Cool little sneks!

How common are the rough greens? I caught one a few years back along the river and that's the only one I've ever seen. They look cool as all hell.
