quote:What an odd statement by “the US Intelligence Community” (to whomever that may refer).
BREAKING: U.S. Intelligence admits that TikTok's threat is purely “hypothetical” and has failed to provide any evidence that TikTok has ever coordinated with the Chinese government, according to a spokesperson at the FBI.
——
US intelligence community strikes again trying to make policy.
Perhaps 51 ex-intel experts?
---
Let’s take a look at what we know.
We know the CCP has access to TikTok data through both ByteDance infiltration and “super credentials.”
We know, during Congressional Testimony, ByteDance Reps refused to answer how many CCP officials were employed by them, much less who they were, how they were hired, and what corporate roles they were/are assigned.
We know BD CCP access points were used to acquire personal info on Hong Kong dissidents during the Chinese takeover aiding the CCP as it crushed HK freedom.
We know “super credential" BD access points have similarly been used against US Journalists and to attempt to identify leaks and sources.
We also know the CCP controls ByteDance. When the CCP says “Jump!” BD responds “How high?”
For example, the decision to divest and spinoff TikTok will not be ByteDance’s. It will be made exclusively by the CCP.
We also know the TikTok algorithms styling to Western "values" (aka, Drag Queen Story Hours, It-Won't-Lick-Itself Grooming Tranny Strippers, and a Library full of "Libs of TikTok" content) are banned in China. When Hong Kong fell, TikTok was banished there as well. Why? China has its own version, Douyin, indistinguishable from its international sibling ... EXCEPT for their different behavior styling algorithms. Why? Well it seems where Douyin guides its Chinese users to Nationalism, TikTok guides its Western users to NAMBLA.
Those are a few of the things we know.
So this appears to be another WTF moment for our illustrious “US Intelligence Community”
