Ever been to mainland China? All social media shuts off. Outside of TikTok, WeChat is about the only thing you can get without VPN.

If you have AT&T, T-Mobile, or Varizon data plan, you have no problem to access any website and use all social media. You can also use WiFi in some hotels to do so.
