COVID is so weird to me.

On one hand, I was basically on a 8 month paid vacation from work so that was incredible.

On the other hand, you couldn’t go anywhere without a stupid mask and the world was at peak woke.

People acting completely irrationally in the face of facts was absolutely insane and something I will never forget. When they completely dropped covid for a week after George Floyd, only to pick it back up a week later and try to continue to scare us to death was just incomprehensible.

Work was basically no different for me other than being home. It permanently changed my job though. My boss liked us remote better, so we never went back full time. I haven't been in an office more than a day or two per week in 4 years.

Guys, those were trying times and we did what we had to do to get out of it. But it's not over! Bernie released a video on his YT channel declaring his commitment to helping millions affected with this debilitating disease. Please show your support and continue to wear your mask!

this was easily avoidable by having something called friends. we had a bunch of house parties and the cops never showed up or anything like that.

The essential workers were given "papers" to prove why they had permission to move about.

We keep those along with other mementos.

Never thought law-abiding citizens in the US would need permission to move about.

...or report our vaccination status to our employers, fill out surveys, etc.
