Outside of everything that makes it a soulslike, it's not a soulslike
"campfire" checkpoint system. You lose a resource when you die. The only way to reclaim resource is to kill the enemy that killed you. Enemies respawn every time you die.
Even the most worthless peon enemy can kill you in 3 hits.
Stupid parry system that makes fights not fun at all unless you parry nonstop (see copying Sekiro).
The main story missions are just linear stages with a boss at the end just like a Nioh game
The developers would be better served at looking how Respawn adapts soulslike mechanics into game that's much more approachable overall.
