I don’t think there is a food I eat that is more “luck of the draw” than ribs. I could buy them from the same place back to back days and they could be terrible one day and excellent the next.

I have the same “then vs now” perspective with Outback. First few times I went there (prob 25 years ago), I thought it was wonderful. Now it just seems a little above average.
