Wasn't 44 BC 2067 years ago, rather than 2068 (since there is no year zero)?

Year Difference = 44 + 2024 - 1 = 2067

I thought no one knows exactly when bc ended and ad began.

There is some opaqueness around the birth and life of Christ.
