That's what I'm wondering. If one of you had to go, and you managed to get it wrestled and its mouth shut, how do you kill it?
Pretty sure you'd have to be strong enough to do the opposite and try to pry its mouth open wide enough to break its jaw.

Gator bite force is several orders of magnitude stronger than even the strongest human. No chance you could keep its mouth open. It has markedly weaker opening muscles which is why you can hold it shut relatively easy.
