Guarantee you this was Carr’s decision. He picked Haener last year, had Loomis actually discussing a trade for Hunter Renfrow. Carr runs this franchise

Our new QB coach wanted him. He had him in Chicago. The Saints want the kid to step up and take the backup job this year. Don’t forget we still have Taysom too.
