Anyone have recommendation for a scope/gun mounted green light to shoot hogs every now and then?
Wanting to get a thermal but looking for something a tad cheaper till I make that plunge. Thanks

1000 Lumen or higher green led off Amazon. A lot will have mounts to adapt to your weapon, either clamp on or rail mount. Very inexpensive

Sniper Hog Light Coyote Cannon is the real deal. I highly recommend red which has proven to spook hogs less. Rob (owner) is a first class guy and will take care of you

I have had a little luck with the green light hunting hogs, but we kept spooking them with the green lights. I would look into the Sightmark Wraith Night Vision. The one I got was about $300 off of Amazon. Did pretty well with it, too. Might have to get a different IR light then the one it comes with, but I never had a problem. I have since moved onto thermal, AGM Rattler, which has worked well for me. I got the cheapest one at $1,000. Killed a hog with it last night at about 125 yards. Hope some of this helps.

i remember getting a battery operation flood light and attaching green/transparent notebook dividers to the bulb lenses. ratchet strapped it around an electric feeder and let them get used to it while they ate.
i was always told they can't see anything above their heads anyway.

I’m really wanting a thermal bad! I’ll look into that brand, thanks!

My wife is on notice that if she changes one more thing during this total house remodel, that I'm buying a top shelf thermal as compensation.
Her changing up bullshite has already allowed me to spend about 3k on bullshite already. Next time it's going to be big ticket.

Sniper hog lights or SlowGlow lights.

I alternate between a green amazon light mounted and a budget agm thermal that both work pretty well. You can't go wrong with a bright led light mounted on you gun though. Especially if you are baiting them. I wouldn't sweat spending a ton on a light if you were inclined to put it towards a decent priced thermal.
ETA: I bait em close from my deer stand or on a split lane spot on my lease and shoot them probably 50-100 yards so I am not a shining example of long range shooting at em. I will say packing three buddies in my stand with AR's when we get a group of 30-50 hogs at about 50 yards and just Al Capone-ing them has worked pretty well. Would use tannerite there like I used to in a non pipeline field spot but recently I've been shooting them at the lease which is pipeline. It is woods though, if you're in a large ag field you may want to spring for a higher power light and/or thermal.

I looked the AliExpress site over and it looks like it's cheap enough to be worth a try. Can't find the scope mount for that light though, where is it located?

Lumenshooter. About $100 on amazon. They work.

This link should show several quick mount options that look similar to the mount in the pic provided by uncommon sense in the previous post.

Depending on which light you choose if you go that route, you'll need batteries which you can buy on aliexpress with the light, but I'd recommend buying these instead based on ratings. I use these in my lights and have never had any issues with them.
