Yea I'm pretty confident he is better than buzz/stackhouse/Mike white. Who else in that list would you rather have CMM for sure over? Maybe Gates?

Calipari, Barnes and Pearl are in the twilight of their careers. I am not sure Barnes and Pearl will make another Final Four as Tennessee has never been and Pearl seems to have too much inconsistency. Calipari 's once and done freshman approach may have run its course .

Looking long term and considering age and historical results of the programs the ceiling is highest for Todd Golden and McMahon and possibly Musselman. The other coaches may do well off and on but are not likely to survive the second round of the NCAA tournament if they get that far. It will be interesting to see if Lamont Paris can sustain this year's success or is he next season's Dennis Gates. Mike White could be Georgia's basketball version of Kirby Smart if he can put a border around Georgia.

In the new age of college basketball the coach who works the portal best will have the most success if he recruits well in high school and holds on to them while landing a big hammer in the portal to lead the way
