re: American culture seems constipated right now

I think we are beginning a political shift too which may change things. I think a larger chunk of young whites are going to stay socially liberal while young black, hispanics are a little more socially conservative. Would not be shocked in 30 to 40 years to see blacks back with republicans and a majority of whites voting dem.
