It's similar across the country.

I see alot of hospitals financial statements, and like I said, most patients are net losers.
FOUR TRILLION DOLLARS and the industry just can't manage to make ends meet? $1,000 PER MONTH from each and every American man, woman, and child, and that's just not quite enough? We spend 50% more than the second most expensive country in the world (Switzerland), twice as much as the Canadians and the British, and the system is barely staying afloat?

Somebody is getting paid. Is it worker wages? Big pharma? Insurance companies? Equipment manufacturers? Government? All of the above?

Is it wasteful spending? Big bets that didn't materialize? Inefficient processes? Too much specialization?

What's the real industry secret?
