Once you start doing some rideshare, you start to realize what a massive problem this is. When I order an Uber, I am usually waiting outside for my driver, at worst, going outside within a minute of him arriving.
Yet, I quickly realized this wasn't the norm. Despite Uber giving riders the exact location and time for arrival, PLENTY of riders have me sit outside of their location like a dog, often with my hazards on in a high-stress, crowded roadway, and wait 5 minutes for them to saunter out.
It's aggravating.

Maybe tell Uber to stop with their 5 minute wait.
I ordered a Lyft the other day. Guy showed up 6 minutes earlier than the initial time of 10 minutes, then complained to me about not being ready.

Lady down the street had a son a year behind one of ours at the same school. My wife took our son to school every morning and FIL picked him up after school on non sports practice day. Wife leaves the house at 7:20, 10 min drive, and was back home by 7:45. School starts at 7:50. Wife said she’d carpool with lady down the street and drive a week and alternate.
Lady friend gets the first week and shows up at our house at 7:45 because….blah….blah….blah….. wife tells her after one day! “Sorry Patti, you are on your own.”
Lady was a constant tardy individual for many events. She lives that way. Crazy.
