My wife and I checked this film out with low expectations and TBH, it was pretty good. Millie Bobby Brown carried this film in a solid performance. My biggest critique was the GCI was sub par that felt like a early 2000's quality but the story was good.
It's not a classic, but if you've got nothing better to do and want to check out something new to kill a few brain cells give it a look.

Perfect description for it.

Also checked it out with my wife but thought it was pretty “meh”.
Definitely wouldn’t watch again or recommend to anyone but I’ve seen worse movies

We watched it last night and enjoyed it for the most part. The twist was good, although I saw it coming. They managed to create a strong female character who wasn't an annoying "girl boss" type, and Millie Bobby Brown showed that she's got the acting chops to carry a movie.

My least favorite of the three streaming titles to drop this weekend (Ricky Stanicky, Night Shift, Damsel)

I thought that the effects were pretty well done. The dragon was pretty much on par with those in Game of Thrones. I don't think this is really a spoiler, but I enjoyed how they had the dragon spew molten lava more than actual fire.

So “Heart of Stone” in the Middle Ages?

Yeah that was my feeling too. It's a fun movie to watch on a Friday night.

Pleasantly surprised. She did well and wife and I agree she looks good as a red head

I am willing to bet I can describe the entire plot without watching one second of the movie
