I bet if these restaurants offered boiled shrimp at half the price of crawfish they’d sell it all. Cooked the same, just with shrimp. You can get shrimp off the boats cheap right now

Imo shrimp is better than crawfish anyways

I love both, but I'd honestly rather boiled shrimp anyway.

Same restaurant owner I mentioned up above down here in Needville, he’s been doing that with crawfish. He’s been driving down to Golden Meadow, loading up on a few hundred lbs of shrimp off the boat, then boiling at his restaurant. One night a week, all you can eat boiled shrimp for $20.

I took advantage a couple weeks back and filled my belly. But he’s still also selling out every night of crawfish.
