Batters that have a lot of guys on base tend to be our RBI leaders. We have to go back to 2012 for the last time our RBI leader also led the team in GDPs, and now Tommy is on track to do it 2 years in a row.

That doesn’t seem random, or a function of having more guys on base than other players on the team.

The SB has become obsolete more recently

You’re going back 12 seasons

Regardless, I’m not worried about a guy that can handle the bat like Tommy White

He knows how to not only hit with 2 strikes, but to do it with power. Some of his DP problem is probably related to putting the ball in play when some would have already K’d
