re: Chicago for Cubs' game

other than the platform at Addison being a crowded shite-show after the game, I've never heard of any issues with the red line to/from a Cubs game...later in the night can certainly be seedy, but tens of thousands of fans use it every game. Regarding the weather, one thing you'll notice, especially if there is an easterly wind, is the temperature can vary noticeably from block to block depending on distance from the lake, so it could easily be a good 10 degrees warmer at Wrigley than downtown near the lake.
