That’s probably the most common thing I see that causes rats nest. One I’m doing now I ripped out probably 10 wire runs that were just abandoned and not even used anymore lol. That and stuff like wire nuts and using cheap wiring/non-tinned wiring.

I'm guilty of this. I always think, "I'm not pulling that old wire unless I have a new wire attached to the end to fish it through. It'll always be there if I need it."

Sounds good. Let me know when you have availability. I don’t mind the work itself but not sure about where to mount speakers and how to go about running the wires. I figured I’d leave that to someone more knowledgeable. I’m in Slidell so not too far away for me to bring it to you.
