There is no parking, the water and sewage system in probably 300 time’s capacity, traffic is LA bad, the average wait at a decent restaurant is 1 hour and half plus and the mfers are building the tallest condo building in Texas and probably have a dozen high rises under construction. It’s fricking insane. Obviously the planning commission is being bought off by developers.

The real people living here have had it, they pushed that ordinance getting rid of all the homeless people, etc. They will vote out the libtards on the council over time too.

We were 300 short of cops in Mobile and we didn’t pass any damn defund the police shite. It’s a shitty dangerous job with shitty pay that no one wants. Plus in Austin where a decent 1200 square foot house is 700k or more, they obviously can’t live in Austin. If they passed a we love the police ordinance they would still be fricked.

With the fricking traffic if the cops get there under an hour they should be happy.

That's by design. One of the high-rises downtown bragged that it did *not* have enough parking for residents--as a feature. The idea is the lack of parking will encourage people to take public tranportation.

^ leftist logic. Make people so miserable they will do just about anything to cope.

Quit talking at of your arse. Austin rents have been among the highest in the country until recently. Supply, by way of all those towers, is making it more attainable.
