Do you actually like SNL?

I record it to watch later in the week. It's hit or miss, like it's always been. I suffer through some lame sketches to catch a few laughs. I actually enjoyed some of the Gillis episode, including his monologue that many said he "bombed." I think I enjoyed it because he knew he was bombing with that audience, owned it, and kept plugging away with a good attitude.

The guy who does the impression of Trump is excellent. His cold open comments on his primary opponents after one of the early debates was as good as it gets.

The musical guests are usually too young/rap for me these days, so I give them 30 seconds then FF thru them. Kacey Musgraves, however, has potential.

my favorite part of that was the two black dudes in the back over his right shoulder that were enjoying the monologue and chuckling compared to the red head and old white dude with sticks up their butts.

But... why?

Seems like a chore to watch an hour long show in the hopes that maybe one or two sketches are funny.

is a decade plus on the circuit enough to move her beyond “potential”? love the moralizing lecture though. tell us more about Kacey
