As I said in an earlier post on another thread, if I'm the LSU AD, that 12-6 is the record necessary next season for McMahon to keep his job.
So top 5 in the SEC or we blow everything up and start over? Some of you...

I can't believe I have to agree with mmcgrath!

12-6 in the SEC next year or he's fired? What if LSU goes 10-8 in the SEC but is a 7th seed in the NCAA tournament? LSU went 9-9 in the SEC, yet reached the NCAA Tournament with the 3rd best seed position (6th) in 20 years. Should Wade have been fired for that (NOT the off court issues)?

Setting some arbitrary record requirement without any context is absurd. Arkansas was 8-10 in SEC play last year, yet reached the NCAAT. Vanderbilt was 11-7...and didn't reach the NCAAT. What performance would you prefer?

Yeah right...after 3 years, just stick with a coach who isn't doing the job. Or maybe you think mediocre/middle of the pack in SEC basketball is just fine. To blow something up being a bad thing, that assumes something is worth saving. If McMahon can't go 12-6 after 3 years, the job is obviously too big for him.
