I just don't understand how anyone, fans, coaches, front office, could possibly think that the best version of this team is having BI as the number 1 option. The primary option should be Zion, or someone who isn't currently on the roster. This team is destined to be a first round out, if you're playing with BI as the primary option.

I don’t think anyone thinks BI should be the #1 option. I don’t know any fans or posters who say that at least.

For Willie and the organization, it may be that they need Zion to play a full year and really earn the #1 player status. I wish he’d get the ball more at the end of games, but after the previous 2 years I don’t blame them for wanting Zion to earn the right to be the #1.

I will say it’s about time to make him the main guy in the clutch. He’s been healthy this year and seems like he’s bought in.

Zion SHOULD be the #1 option, but that requires that he do 2 things:

1: Earn it. He hasn't. #1 is a leader, and a leader is always present.
2. Take it. Standing in the halfcourt corner while everyone else runs offense isn't taking it.

No one on the team is just going to hand zion the #1 spot.

He has to actually play and compete 100% of the time.

Once he fully buys in I'm sure the team and coach will start treating him like the #1
