Any chance he makes cut this year for the roster?

Not to start the year. Would have to be productive in likely AA first.

He will probably make his way there this season at some point.

I imagine there’s a chance he gets called up later this year. Needs to work through the minor league system a little more after last years stretch probably. Skenes likely gets called up a little sooner.

That’s too much hustle for spring training

I understand the injury risk but it’s his first start he’s trying to make a statement

It happens, but not often. There are a lot of variables at play there. Injuries, trades, etc. and obviously his performance in the minors.

That's a single for any MLB player. Them big money dudes don't hustle like that.

Unless he pulls a Ken Griffey Jr and it’s impossible not to keep him on the 25 man, he likely wouldn’t get called up until later this season at the earliest

only thing that will get him up quicker is that the nats may be desperate and have no choice, I can't even name the starting OF for Washington

espn has a pretty good article about Wyatt Langford and he is trying to get into a crowded outfield for the World Series champs and how close he was to possibly making it up last year

from the article, "What's clear is that the Rangers won't keep Langford down just to keep him down -- not with MLB's rules that award a full year of service time to top rookies and incentivize teams to promote them by giving draft picks."
