Perhaps this is why he was chosen. By all accounts, the man doesn't seem to have any skeletons in the closet. Certainly nothing like his three opponents. If the debate can be held on the merits and not with threats, I think Johnson will hold fast to his principles and not back down.

It would be nice to see more Republicans visibly and vocally letting the public know they are onboard with Johnson standing firm here. Instead, it seems like a lot of crickets.
