He’s a Democrat so his ideas for policy are probably horrible.
But this:
Is not wrong.
The education system has always been, is, and will always be the best way to address the societal issues we are facing.
But this:

until Louisiana makes education a real priority, crime will continue to be a real problem

There is a lot of, you ain’t going to Harvard or Yale type shite where your parent would fricking laugh at you for even suggesting such a thing. Kids testing gifted and their parents saying frick that and keep them out of it. No discipline at home, won’t behave at school distracting others and making teachers say frick that I’m not dealing with this.
This shite happens. The parents are the problem. Always have and always will be. Fix that, then we can talk about throwing money at something.

Wrong. The education system is a symptom, not the cause, of the problem, which is broken families and a lack of accountability.
If we cut off welfare for everyone who was not disabled, and started harshly punishing criminals, all of this would be cleared up like it was before the Great Society. You can double spending on education and it won’t move the needle.

The intact nuclear family will have a far greater impact on a child's success than the school district will.
Until we address that elephant in the room, we're just pissing in the wind.

We’ll never fix the education system until we adopt policies that encourage marriage and discourage unwed mothers.
None of this shite gets fixed without a father establishing order in a household. None of it.

Louisiana spends an insane amount of money per public school student for shitty results (that are getting worse).

It's the prioritization of education at home that is the problem. When kids parents don't prioritize it and their communities do not prioritize it, what's the point of throwing more money at it when they don't care about education and it won't matter anyway?
