Assume I have had 2 or 3 and am unsure if I'm .081 or .079. If you deny the tests, do you lose your license for a year regardless? Or can an attorney get you out of that part?

Laws probably vary by state. You may be automatically suspended for refusing. However, if you want a chance of beating a dui, refusal is all you can do. Hope your lawyer can get it thrown out or reduced.

Pretty sure you’re losing your license if you refuse.
