Architecture isn’t necessarily bland today. Just certain segments.

Back in the day, fast food restaurants designed with marketing in mind. it was an inviting night out and needed to grab attention.

With TV, social media, brand recognition, fast food doesn’t need to do this anymore. They need to be efficient as possible and put up as many locations as possible.

Different industries design differently. Plenty of cool buildings going up in my neighborhood. Even the new bars are doing some cool shite…bc they need to market their space with a cool design and inviting atmosphere
