This could end tomorrow if the coaches simply agree not to pay players or accept players getting money. Where else would they go? College football is a monopoly that the NFL uses. But we all know coaches won’t do that. Just like the portal. All coaches have to do is not accept any player who is transferring from another school. Problem solved. But they won’t do that because, no matter what they post on X, all that matters is winning.
Saban coming out now is hypocrisy at its finest. When he was in the game he benefitted from the system and used it better than anyone. I’ll never give a dime of my money to a 18-22 year old person just to win a game. I’d rather go 6-6 than see some POS take my money and then transfer.
