The Grand- room choices

Heading to The Grand with wife and two kids in a few months. Any recommendations on room choices?
Do y’all prefer spa building or older building? Marina view vs bay view vs resort view?

I personally like the older building for the ambiance, but haven't been in couple of years. The last couple of times we looked at going the rate was outrageous ($500/nt) so we ended up going somewhere else. But it is a cool spot.

With kids, I’d stay as close to the pool as possible. Save the spa bldg for a trip without kids.

There’s a larger room in the spa building we usually go for when we bring our 2 kids. It’s close enough to the pool for us and there’s a little more breathing room than the old building. View didn’t matter for us so we just chose whichever was cheaper (and at the Grand there ain’t much that is cheap, but it’s worth an occasional splurge)
