So kindly explain how LSU was to keep the fans in the stands and for how long are they held hostage from going on the court.

First, you pay for the right to sit in the stands, not enter the area of play.

Secondly, each school is supposed to have a plan for this and make announcements to discourage this from happening while the other team is still on the court.

Under the current rules, fans are allowed onto the court or field of play after the visiting team has left the field or court.

Here is a GIF of a man fighting the tyranny of being confined to the stands.

Well gee I just did not know fans would have to sit patiently after the game is over for the opposing team to take a victory lap or talk to press or whatever else needs to be done. So how exactly do you force paying fans to not cross the court to head for the exit and their vehicles once the game is over. So how do you as LSU enforce this behavior. Looks like to me they did not or could not. Guess I still do not see how come when the game is officially over, fans are somehow obligated to not go on the court which is no longer in play. So what happens if the opposing team fans storms the court celebrating their victory over the home team
