Fair statement, I'm hardcore on pointing out to people how it may not work out well for them in other states. It's leftover trauma from living in Atlanta, where you will get dropped constantly if you made the mistake of licensed open carry, with no probable cause.

The point is that government continues to turn the screws on what is "good enough." It'll only be safe if you take 8 hours. Or 16 hours. Maybe shoot expert. They will always ratchet it tighter. Doesn't matter if you're old, disabled, a legal immigrant, etc.

You don't need training to carry. If you can load, and reload, and pull the trigger, you're good. Do you need training to know that you shouldn't shoot a 12 year old stealing a bike from the sidewalk? When I fear from my life at 200+ lbs, versus what a 90 pound grandma feels are different. Ma'am, drop drop the hammer, and I'll buy you replacement rounds. Does she need to put 8/15 in the 10 ring? 5/10? What's good enough? You realize how few women in the Army could properly pull the charging handle on an M-16 in basic training right? When is Grandma going to be able to keep the pistol on her fridge, if E-2s can load a rifle?

"Engrish class."

Tell me you weren't stationed in Japan.

2nd Amendment, simple as that. The people of Louisiana shouldn’t have to pay a tax to the sheriffs association just to conceal carry. I don’t want to hear about public safety, in Louisiana it’s about money and control from a group of sheriffs that have way to much power.
